    Password

Set a long, unique password. Length beats complexity — a passphrase of four unrelated words is stronger and easier to remember than a short string of symbols. The strength meter on the password field tells you where you stand.

Never reuse a password from another service.

    Two-factor authentication

Turn on 2FA in Settings → Security. You scan a QR code with an authenticator app, and from then on sign-in needs your password plus a six-digit code.

Save the recovery codes somewhere that is not your phone. If you lose the phone and the codes, you lose the account.

2FA is the single highest-value thing on this page. A stolen password alone stops being enough.

    Active sessions

Settings → Security lists where your account is currently signed in. If you see a session you do not recognise, sign it out and change your password immediately.

Sign out sessions on devices you no longer use.

    Team access

Access someone no longer needs is access someone can misuse. Review Workspace → Team regularly and remove people who have moved on.

Warning — SurveyKar will never ask for your password or a 2FA code by email or message. Any message that does is not from us.
