Contacts Overview

Contacts are the people you send things to. They are the audience for email campaigns, WhatsApp campaigns and automations.

Where they live

Audience → Contacts in the sidebar.

What a contact holds

First and last name, email, phone, company, and tags. Email is what campaigns need; phone is what WhatsApp needs.

The contact timeline

Open any contact to see everything that has happened with them in one place — surveys they responded to, campaigns they were sent, emails they opened, tags added, automations that ran. It is the fastest way to answer "what do we already know about this person?"

How contacts get created

• Added by hand — see Add Contacts.
• Imported from a CSV — see Import Contacts.
• Created automatically when someone gives their email in a survey or form.

Your plan's limit

Each plan includes a number of contacts. The current count and cap are shown on the contacts screen.
