Mobile Survey Preview
Check your survey on a phone-sized screen before sending it.
Switch to the phone frame
The builder's preview has a device switch. Choose the phone frame to see your survey at phone width.
Why it matters
Most survey responses arrive on a phone. A survey that only works on a laptop loses most of its audience silently — respondents do not report the problem, they just stop.
What to look for
- Long option labels wrapping onto three lines.
- Matrix questions, which need horizontal scrolling on narrow screens. Consider splitting a wide matrix into separate rating questions.
- Images pushing content off screen.
- The submit button — it must be reachable without a long scroll past the last question.
- Background images, which crop very differently in portrait.
Then test on a real phone
The frame is accurate about width, not about thumbs. Open the live link on your own phone once before a large send.
Tip — If a question only works on desktop, that is a signal to simplify the question, not to hope your audience is on a laptop.
