Customize Survey Theme

Open the design settings

In the survey builder, open the Design or appearance panel. Changes preview live.

What you can change

• Colours — see Customize Colors.
• Fonts — see Customize Fonts.
• Logo — see Add Your Logo.
• Background — a solid colour or an image behind the form.
• Corners and spacing — how rounded and how dense the form feels.
• Layout — all questions on one page, or one at a time.

Keep it legible

A survey is a form people want to finish quickly, not a poster. Two things matter more than the palette:

• Contrast — dark text on a light background, or the reverse. Mid-grey on beige fails for anyone with less than perfect eyesight.
• Restraint — a background image behind form fields makes labels harder to read. If you want one, keep it subtle.

Themes are per survey

Each survey carries its own design. Duplicating a survey carries the design across, which is the easiest way to keep a set of surveys consistent.

Tip — Check every design change in the phone preview. Backgrounds behave differently on a narrow screen.
