API Access

    Read surveys and responses programmatically.

    Create an API key

Open Workspace → Integrations and create an API key. The key is shown once, at creation. Copy it then — it cannot be retrieved afterwards, only replaced.

    What you can do

The API exposes your surveys and their responses, so you can pull data into a warehouse, a dashboard, or an internal application on your own schedule.

    Using the key

Send the key with each request as a header. Never put it in front-end code, a public repository, or a URL — anything in a browser is readable by anyone using that browser.

    Keeping it safe

    • One key per integration, so you can revoke one without breaking the others.
    • Revoke immediately if a key is exposed, and issue a new one.
    • Rotate keys when someone with access leaves.

    Availability

API access depends on your plan.

Warning — An API key can read your response data, including anything personally identifying your respondents gave you. Treat it like a password.
