Create a Survey

The three ways to start a survey and when to use each.

    Where to start

Click + Create → Survey in the sidebar, or open Collect → Surveys and create one from there.

    Choose a starting point

Blank gives you an empty survey. Best when you know exactly what you want to ask.

Template opens the template library, grouped by purpose — customer satisfaction, employee feedback, event feedback, market research and more. Templates are fully editable once added. See Use Survey Templates.

AI asks what you want to learn and drafts the whole survey. See Create a Survey Using AI.

Survey — guided is a four-step wizard: what you are measuring, who you are asking, how long it should be, and a review. Useful the first few times.

    Name it properly

The survey title is what respondents see at the top of the form and what you will scan for in lists later. "Q3 onboarding feedback" beats "Untitled survey".

    Your plan's limit

Each plan allows a number of surveys. When you reach the cap, the create button is disabled and tells you so. Archiving or deleting a survey frees a slot.
