Add Questions

Add a question

In the survey builder, click Add question. A new question appears at the end of the list and opens for editing. Choose its type, write the question text, and add answer options if the type needs them.

Edit a question

Click any question to open its editor. Beyond the text and options you can set:

• Description — a line of help text under the question.
• Required — see Required Questions.
• Validation — formats like email, phone number, PIN code or GSTIN, plus length and range limits.
• Image — attach a picture to the question.

Reorder

Drag the handle at the left of a question. Order matters: put short, easy questions first and anything sensitive or open-ended last.

Page breaks

Insert a page break to split a long survey across several screens. Respondents see a progress indicator, and answers are kept as they move between pages.

Duplicate and delete

Each question has duplicate and delete actions. Duplicating is the quickest way to build a run of similar rating questions.

Warning — Deleting a question that already has answers removes those answers from your reports. Consider hiding the question with logic instead.
