Survey Cannot Be Published

What to check when a survey will not go live.

    Work through these in order.

    1. Does the survey have a question?

An empty survey cannot be published. Add at least one real question — a description block on its own does not count.

    2. Is a question incomplete?

A choice question with no options, or a question with empty text, blocks publishing. The builder marks the offending question.

    3. Is the logic broken?

A rule pointing at a question you have since deleted will stop the survey validating. Open the logic view and check the flow diagram for unreachable questions.

    4. Are you at your plan's survey limit?

If you already have as many surveys as your plan allows, you cannot activate another. Archive or delete one, or upgrade — see Subscription Plans.

    5. Is your email verified?

Some actions are restricted until you confirm your address. Look for the banner at the top of the workspace.

    6. Did you actually save?

Make sure the builder has finished saving before you leave the page. Watch the save indicator.
