WhatsApp Message Not Sent
What to check when a WhatsApp send fails.
1. Is your WhatsApp account connected?
Open Engage → WhatsApp → Account. Nothing sends until the account is connected and verified.
2. Is the template approved?
WhatsApp requires pre-approved templates for messages you start. Check the Templates tab — a template that is pending or rejected cannot be sent. Sync templates from your WhatsApp Business account to refresh their status.
3. Is the number in the right format?
Numbers need the full international format, including the country code and no spaces or dashes. A local-format number will fail every time.
4. Test with Quick Send
Send to your own number with Quick Send. If that works, the connection and template are fine and the problem is in the campaign's audience.
5. Check the analytics tab
Failures are reported per message with a reason — invalid number, template rejected, or the recipient having blocked business messages.
6. WhatsApp's own limits
WhatsApp enforces messaging limits and quality ratings on business accounts. Sending to people who did not expect to hear from you leads to blocks that SurveyKar cannot lift — that is between your account and WhatsApp.
