Send Survey by Email

Emailing a survey is done as a campaign, which gives you delivery, open and click tracking.

Steps

1. Add the people you are emailing — see Import Contacts.
2. Go to Engage → Campaigns and create a campaign.
3. Choose the survey and the contacts or contact list to send to.
4. Write the subject and body, or start from an email template.
5. Send a test to yourself.
6. Send, or schedule it.

Writing the email

• Subject — say what you want and how long it takes. "2 minutes: how was your delivery?" beats "Customer Survey".
• One link — the survey. Extra links compete with it.
• Say why — people respond when they believe the answer will be used.

Before you send

Your email address must be verified. Sending is also capped by your plan's monthly email allowance, shown on the campaign screen.

Warning — Always send a test to yourself first. A broken link in a campaign cannot be recalled.
