Survey Settings

    Response limits, scheduling, anonymity, language and the thank-you page.

    Settings sit beside the builder and control how the survey behaves once it is live.

    Responses

    • Response limit — close the survey automatically after a set number of submissions.
    • One response per person — limit repeat submissions from the same browser.
    • Anonymous responses — do not associate submissions with a contact.

    Schedule

    Set an open and close date. Outside that window the survey shows a closed message instead of the first question.

    Respondent experience

    • Progress bar — show how far through they are.
    • Back button — allow answers to be changed.
    • Save and continue — let a partial response be resumed.

    Thank-you page

    Edit the message shown after submission, and optionally redirect to a URL of your own — a purchase confirmation, a booking page, or your homepage.

    Languages

    Add translations of your questions and answers. Respondents see the survey in their own language where one is available.

    Security

    Turn on a reCAPTCHA-style challenge if you are sharing the link publicly and expect automated submissions.

    Tip — Settings changes apply immediately to a live survey. Change them before a big send, not during one.
